“Afro Anatolian Tales” is a musical journey from  the  “ inner-core” to  the  “ outer-reaches ”, from the  individual  to the  group,  from the here and now back to roots   .
The master of percussion Sjahin During 's guiding spirit is the tradition on this  tragic  and tortuous road  on which songstress Aynur Dogan and highly acclaimed percussionist and vocalist Arto Tuncboyaciyan occasionally appear as During's travel companions. This is a journey on a  path  passing through the pastoral landscape of the East, with  cheerful notes flitting around along the way,  free of any imitation of the West  or  cheap synthesis tricks which may lead one to deceptively unsatisfying ways
